Your Path to a Bachelor's Degree

Delaware Tech has established agreements with four-year colleges and universities that connect Delaware Tech associate degree programs with bachelor's degree programs to create smooth transfer opportunities for you. These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in Biotechnology: Biological Sciences Option offers students a theoretical and practical education in various aspects of biology and chemistry that can be applied to diverse careers in the medical, environmental, industrial, and agricultural fields. Standard techniques used in science laboratories are covered, and special emphasis is placed on science and math instruction to prepare students for upper-level course work. The University of Delaware's B.A. in Biological Sciences curriculum helps students develop an understanding of principles governing biological processes that span a continuum from molecules and cells to organisms and ecosystems. This major provides a foundation for advanced study of biology at the graduate level, for further training in such areas as the health professions, environmental science, law, biomedical ethics, genetic counseling, journalism, and public health, for teaching middle and/or high school biology, and for a wide array of career opportunities.
