These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

The Criminal Justice: Homeland Defense and Emergency Management Option prepares students for entry-level careers with local, state, and federal law enforcement and emergency management agencies as well as corporate organizations. Courses offered provide a basic understanding of the techniques and processes for emergency preparedness, management, response to and recovery from man-made and natural disasters. In addition the program provides students the foundation for transfer to public and private institutions to complete the requirements for a bachelor's degree. Wilmington University's Criminal Justice program prepares students to enter or advance in fields within the criminal justice system, including law enforcement, corrections, courts, probation, parole, private security, and the related service careers. This program also prepares students for graduate study in law or criminology (sociology).
