These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.

The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum

Delaware Tech's associate degree program in General Business prepares students for entry-level technical and professional careers in a variety of business settings. In addition to required courses in accounting, management, marketing, microcomputer applications as well as related general education courses in economics, mathematics, and written/oral communication, elective courses offer the opportunity to tailor the program to meet individual employment goals or educational needs. Graduates of the General Business Program also are prepared to continue their education at the bachelor's degree level. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Studies Concentration integrates the classroom and the real world through a dynamic mix of leading-edge knowledge, involvement with successful entrepreneurs, and hands-on development. Students will learn key skills such as creativity, market focus, and business planning which are essential to successful ventures. Student learning goals represent the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the processes for assessing needs and opportunities in a market, translating an idea into a product or service, and developing a formal business plan, which includes an analysis of funding and of the scalability of the proposed solution.
