The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Marketing prepares graduates to work in a variety of entry-level marketing positions in different types of organizational settings. In addition to specific areas of marketing such as advertising, e-marketing, sales and sales management, retailing, and graphic design, students will gain broad-based knowledge of support areas such as accounting, law, computer technology, and communications. Graduates are prepared to continue their education at the bachelor's degree level. Goldey-Beacom's Bachelor of Science degree program in Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Studies Concentration integrates the classroom and the real world through a dynamic mix of leading-edge knowledge, involvement with successful entrepreneurs, and hands-on development. Students will learn key skills such as creativity, market focus, and business planning which are essential to successful ventures. Student learning goals represent the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand the processes for assessing needs and opportunities in a market, translating an idea into a product or service, and developing a formal business plan, which includes an analysis of funding and of the scalability of the proposed solution.
