These Connected Degree programs enable you to complete your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year degree program as a junior.
The Connected Degree 2+2 Curriculum
Delaware Tech's accredited associate degree program in Medical Assistant prepares graduates to work with other members of the health care team performing both clinical duties (assisting with patient care) and administrative duties (performing medical office tasks). Graduates may apply to take the certification exam given by the American Association of Medical Assistants. Successful candidates are Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), with employment opportunities in physicians' offices, hospitals, and other health care facilities. Wilmington University's degree completion program in Health Sciences is for Allied Health practitioners who have earned an Associate's Degree with an Allied Health concentration. This degree is intended for students who have an interest in healthcare roles which provide managerial, educational, and/ or clinical expert direction as well as attracting those students on a pathway toward graduate study. The Health Sciences program intends to stimulate continued professional development and advancement toward graduate education.
